Welcome to Sisters in Fat! What is a Sister in Fat? Glad you asked. SIF has been my brain child for the last 20+ years. I’ve worked on “her” more than any of my other random dysfunctions. Why? She IS me! She IS you! She IS the “Inner Fatty” within all of us; regardless of size. I’ll say that again….REGARLESS OF SIZE!
She’s the inner fatty telling you it’s “OK” to eat Taco Bell, wash it down with a Diet Coke whilst watching “My 590lb Life.” Her. Ahh….can you see her now? If not…grab a mirror sisters. She lives! She singlehandedly created “New Me Monday” AND “Fat Girl Friday.” Clearer now? She owns you! The no carb, point counting scale loving devil within. I rebuke her in the name of all things Holy! Yet she never dies….so we call her out of the closet here at SIF. We make light of her and the hold she has on us….
Be happy in your skin sisters….you are more than a number. You are more than enough!
